a life long milwaukeean, cassie started her career in thereputic recreation and respite care. with degrees in adult & community education and as well as student affairs, cassie spent 10 years working with adult students, eventually leaving her career in higher education for a leadership role at a community based organization where she developed a passion for curating sensory boxes for children. she reaped the stress and anxiety reducing benefits of sensory materials and began exploring mindfulness and complementary therapies. this new found interest coupled with her lifelong love of reading became increasingly invaluable while navigating the pandemic and her own struggles with trauma and addiction.

she took this passion and built upon it, designing products, creating accessible and tailored, meditation support kits, and curating a resale collection. all with a focus on creating a mood based on classic literature.

she has a daughter, loves little old dogs, mustard cardigans, carrot cake (despite her sensitivity to carrots) and hot fried chicken. she is an expert at thrifting and passionate about resale and sustainable purchasing. sober since february of 2022.
